Exactly. There was a big chunk of England called the “Danelaw” because that’s where the Vikings settled.
Then the Normans came. Norman = North Man....ie Viking. The Vikings were given Normandy by the French king and they settled that area heavily.
So England got a 2nd big infusion of Viking blood even after the first.
