LAST SUPPER OF A BLESSED NATION
Two millennia ago, Jesus Christ gathered the Apostles for His Last Supper to offer them a New Covenant, to bring His Gospel and Light to a world that desperately needed it.In my painting I used the “Da Vinci - Last Supper” to represent the Covenant our Lord has made with the people of this land. Christ lays His hand upon the hourglass of time and sits in judgement upon this nation.
Twelve Presidents represent the rise and fall of American culture, the great demise of our nation’s honor and virtue, as this country’s destiny is laid in the balance. On the table are laid various symbols that describe what is, what was, and what shall be. Each American President has a story to tell, a truth to be revealed, and has played a part in our country’s blessing or destruction.
Today, America is divided and broken, both politically, and spiritually. What will be the fate of our generation? Consider your place at the table and discover the deeper meaning within the painting “Last Supper of a Blessed Nation.”

While I'm not sure I know what is meant by the "Americanist Heresy," I will note that the artist here is represented as saying that "[i]n my painting I used the 'Da Vinci - Last Supper' to represent the Covenant our Lord has made with the people of this land." There is no scriptural support for such a statement, which is surely incorrect, if not altogether heretical.
The only nation that has been in a corporate covenantal relationship with God is Israel -- i.e., the Jews. God has made no "covenant" with the people of the United States. To the extent this painting is meant to communicate that such a "covenant" exists or has ever existed, it is idolatrous nonsense.
He should have painted the Muslim in his beige suit.

I think the painting is a little creepy. Not sure if actual blasphemy; maybe borderline. It’s just art, though, and not verbatim Scripture.
There’s a heart on one of the scale’s plates juxtaposed against a feather on the other plate.
Perhaps the feather represents the American bald eagle and Biden has cut the heart out of America, with the articulate nice clean home boy’s help (Obama) who is shielding the knife from Christ (Christianity in America) which is next to be carved up and eliminated.

Great execution of a terrible concep, mixing church and state. Many of the founders and subsequent politicians were devout Christians. I believe God shined on this nation. That said, hijacking the Last Supper with politicians is just not the way to do it. I don’t like it at all.
On the other hand, your invocation of Genesis 12:3 does provide some biblical basis for saying that the American people have been "blessed" by God. I'm happy to concede to that. Certainly, those nations who've rejected the Jews, cast them off, or abused them, have paid a price over the course of history.
That said, the claim to which I objected was the painter's assertion that God had entered into a "covenant" with the American people. That is simply not true.
It’s just art
Washington believed our budding nation was actively being smiled upon by divine Providence. Most who fought with or against Washington and saw him go in harm’s way battle after battle, year after year, got the distinct sense that the Creator was protecting him against harm or death. Both of these things may be true, and the artist here may merely be reflecting these general beliefs.
The U.S.A. however has not got a hall pass to reinvent the Kingdom of Heaven within our borders. Christ is King, here, there and everywhere. No president, Kennedy included (and now, ostensibly at least, Brandon) can be heard to say or suggest otherwise.
Clearly this line of spiritual doctrine is held to by none but authentic Catholics in this day and age, particularly in the U.S.A., where individual up and down our social strara insist on the power of personal freedom, including the right to view Christ in the manner of their choosing, or reject him entirely. This is Americanism, and it has been strongly and specifically called out at the highest levels of Holy Mother Church as a pernicious heresy, much to be dreaded.
