There’s probably no way to know the depths of corruption that occurred with FTX. The dude is a menace and a danger to many. Yes, there were a lot of small time investors who put their coins on that exchange and lost their money. But it also attracted huge amounts of investment capital. Where did that money go? Was it really an “investment” or was it a pre-arranged money laundering/bribery scheme by the wealthy to the powerful?
FTX rigged a ponzi scheme to create and manipulate the value of coins they made up and leveraged that value by trading/manipulating the value of these made up coins on other exchanges (probably in conspiracy with some other traders and exchanges) to extract as much cash (and bitcoin) as possible. FakeCoin goes up, they use it to buy bitcoin, then funnel the bitcoin somewhere...
Then it goes into “anonymous” wallets and cold storage USB drives. Charities, sure. Politicians? Government officials? Intelligence officials? Foreign governments? Drug cartels? Ukraine? Russia? We’ll never know.

If he had done this to you and me nothing would have happened. But he didnβt.

Get arrested. Phone rings. Car comes to pick him up.
If whatβs been put out there, he spread the wealth so there are lots of folks that could be on that witness list.
Much easier to get to him in the Bahamas. He wont set a live foot on US soil again

Well, it will be one less scumbag on earth. We already know about those involved with him, even though we may not know their dealings with FTX. They need to go anyways.
