We probably need to include the print media, such as newspapers and once illustrious magazines. The indoctrination and demoralization programmes have been going on for a long time - decades. Time, Newsweek, and most large city newspapers were trusted but became complicit in framing the wrong as right and changing our moral and social framework. At first, it was subtle. They slipped in pejorative adjectives when describing an event, leading the reader to adopt a certain viewpoint. Then, in the last 20-30 years, they completely abandoned any pretext of objectivity by editorializing inside a news report. The ongoing liberal assault through the news, combined with the failure of the educational system to teach critical thinking, led to people being unable to distinguish fact from reality. Those people didn’t even know they were demoralized. Those who weren’t moved by the assault on their thinking processes were left thinking that they were a minority, leading to at least an awareness of their demoralization.

It would be a very bad place. Aside from the safety and creature comforts they provide (we provide to each other) that would be sorely missed, I like the polarity of thoughts and emotions between the sexes. I don’t think I could bear living in a world where every person I came into contact with was 4+ crazy. I need a regular dose of <4. You’d also never find me in that parking lot in the second image. At least three of those cars are upside down! I protect my 23 year-old mint Miata like it was my child.

Awww! Thank you, ssschev. When the world has righted itself again, I’d be honoured to actually become an American patriot one day. I promise to abandon my Canadian spellings if that happens so I truly fit in! I think I’m ready in most other regards. I’d certainly be an improvement on the Griners of the country.

Thank you for confirming the details about Khashoggi’s background. In Saudi Arabia, crimes including adultery, armed robbery, apostasy, drug-related offences, rape, witchcraft and sorcery are punishable by death. Of course, crimes against the monarchy are also punishable by death. Gee, I wonder which crime he committed that made MbS patiently wait and hunt him down for? Let me think …
