Ya know, back when we moved to Florida in ‘86, they used punch card ballots (yeah, the hanging chad kind) and unless someone was really a lame ass, they worked damn well. Until the hanging chad issue. NO, you don’t get to determine what the voter might have been thinking. If the hole is punched, it counts. Indentations should NOT have counted. Dangling by a couple of fibers, counted. The thing about electronics....they are electronic and....................

The Florida punch card system had another weakness - the cards had to be inserted all the way in or they would not line up with the candidate names correctly.
