Irving is currently suspended from the Nets for at least five games after a tumultuous week in which he endorsed an antisemitic film and refused to back down in media sessions.

For Irving to return, he must meet with the media and issue a verbal apology that clearly states he’s sorry for sharing the film and understands the film is harmful and untrue.

Did you know that the ADL was established to clear the name of Leo Frank?

Frank had raped and murdered a 13 year old girl. He was Jewish.

He tried to frame two black men for his crime. Frank was unsuccessful as a Georgia all-white jury in 1915 refused to convict the innocent blacks.

ADL and SPC are both racist anti-American communist filled organizations here to undermine our country and accelerate its decline.

All “uppity” blacks will be put in place by their owners. That’s the message sent.

If Kyrie Irving did such a bad thing posting a link to a book on Amazon, why isn't Jeff Bezos, the host of the book sales, forced to verbally apologize, complete sensitivity training, and meet with local Jewish leaders before he's allowed to return to the office?

How about the author? the editor? the CEO of the publishing firm? the reviewers? How about the Amazon drivers who delivered copies of it?

look at the noses of Ethiopians, they are of black African form:

Now look at the nose of Haile Selassie.

“He was a member of the Solomonic dynasty, which claims to trace lineage to Emperor Menelik I, believed to be the son of King Solomon and Makeda the Queen of Sheba.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haile_Selassie

“The Solomonic dynasty, also known as the House of Solomon, was the ruling dynasty of the Ethiopian Empire formed in the thirteenth century. Its members claim lineal descent from the biblical King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Tradition asserts that the queen gave birth to Menelik I after her biblically described visit to Solomon in Jerusalem.”

he has already apologized for causing hurt among our Jewish brothers.

That was his first mistake. When the jackals demand an apology, nothing is ever good enough. Best bet is to tell them to bugger off.

Her facial features are Caucasian but skin very dark.

There's a fair amount of that in India, as well.

Nope, that's not a credible source either.

“One of the ADL’s early campaigns occurred in the 1920s when it organized a media effort and consumer boycott against The Dearborn Independent, a publication published by American automobile industrialist Henry Ford. The publication contained virulently antisemitic articles and commented heavily on The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The ADL and allied organizations pressured Ford until he issued an apology in 1927.”

Yup—there is only right answer.

“I am an autonomous human being.

I can watch what I wish.

I can post what I wish.

I am nobody’s slave.

I am not cattle to be herded.

I will never apologize for being an independent human being.”

I wonder if Kyrie played still played in Cleveland or Boston would have this been handled differently

Nope.

Massa has to break this man, completely.

One Kanye could perhaps be ignored, but if two are allowed soon there will be ten, and then fifty, and then the monster will turn on its creator with incalculable consequences.

Sure, sportsball hero, kneel all you want, trash the police, say all you want about the anonymous "Man" - but never forget what happens when you step into the forbidden zone.

“Nope, that’s not a credible source either.”

If one does not believe a source, one can investigate further using the names and terms used.

Everyone must have the right to be wrong.

That bears repeating. The best way to convince people to reject bad ideas, like antisemitism, is to subject those ideas to testing in the marketplace of ideas and discussion. Trying to silence people who have distasteful opinions only serves to convince other people that there must be some truth behind the idea or opinion if it needs to be censored.

”Hebrews to Negroes: Wake up Black America”

What I think the Nets might do is to have him state in a signed writing and then in a video the key defects of the work.

And we have a winner! He absolutely embarrassed ownership by his refusal to comply and this is one way to put him in his place.

“Black Hebrew Israelite” stuff is garbage. I’ve been around the block a few times.

Citing those two racketeering influenced corrupt organizations reflects badly on the person who does so.

Al Gore questioned the election results in 2000, as was his right.

“only serves to convince other people that there must be some truth behind the idea or opinion if it needs to be censored.”

I think a variation on that theme is correct—my version:

“only serves to convince other people that the wealthy and powerful are threatened by the idea or opinion if it needs to be censored”

An idea does not need to be “true” to threaten the power elites—and it may not be “false” either.

The fact that it scares them tells us more about them than it does the actual idea or opinion.

And the falsehoods in the articles are?

Kindly list them (if there are any) for our edification.

I will agree that both of these groups (ADL and SPLC) are, today, smear outfits.

I don’t know that SPLC ever had any legitimacy.

There is no controversy that ADL was formed to clear the name of Leo Frank, who was viewed by many as having been wrongfully convicted of murder because of his Jewishness. The organization went on to fight many forms of discrimination against Jews.

But, in recent years, ADL has simply joined into the Democratic agenda in terms of demonizing those who have opinions it disagrees with. This makes ADL, as you say, a racist organization. Smearing entire groups of people for the evil of fringe-types within those groups is a denial of the reality of the human condition, is hateful, and justifies, if not incites violence.

The ADL and, for that matter, the ACLU have lost touch with their past. They have been taken over by the progressive left. The SPLC, on the other hand, might simply be a creature of the progressive left. I don’t know its origin or history.
