Women’s sports are increasingly easier to find on TV as more broadcasters invest in its growth — and now there’s a 24/7 dedicated network.

FAST Studios launched the Women’s Sports Network on Wednesday offering more than 1,000 hours of content, including documentaries. The LPGA, the WNBA, U.S. Ski & Snowboard, the Premier Hockey Federation, and Athletes Unlimited are among the 12 professional women’s sports leagues and federations that are content partners.

The venture studio also has plans for live games, tournaments, and events — reportedly as soon as January.

Years ago I was having dinner in a sports bar while a women’s soccer game was on.
I usually ignore all pro-sports but noticed that these gals were Running non stop with no real break between plays.
I quickly realized that American “Football” is overhyped, and the players are wimps in comparison.
Not going back to watching TV for it, but the Soccer gals stamina was impressive.

I saw an ad for ESPNW last night, too. I am a woman and can tell you with few exceptions, I will not watch womens’ sports. I just don’t find them to be compelling and I LOVE sports. Take womens’ basketball: are you kidding me? It just doesn’t have the athleticism that mens’ does. Womens’ tennis? It’s dink ball versus the power of mens’. So no thanks.

Splendid news! Now I will be able to ignore this service just as I do those for men’s sports.

So they can move all women’s sports there? Is there anything men can have for themselves anymore?

In that picture of Trudeau celebrating Rainbows, it looks like he has his fingernails manicured like a woman's.

No, not even the dressing room.

I heard it all this year when women baseball execs complained that they had to “find” womens bathrooms while in a stadium while men execs could use the players’ stalls.

Democrats ruin everything.

“...but grace and balance are also athletic skills, and women excel at that.”

They may excel at that, but is it that that is bringing in the new fan base? The increase of big muscular women that will hit other competitors is what is creating the growth. They had grace before they had goons and the leagues failed a couple of times.

Basketball:
WBL-Women’s Pro Basketball League (1978–81)
ABL-American Basketball League III (1996–1998)
WABA-Women’s American Basketball Association (1993–1995) (2002)

Soccer:
Women’s United Soccer Association, (1999)
Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS, 2009–2011;
Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA, 2001–2003)

Baseball:
All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, (1943-1954)

There are more, but the one major difference is that the league competing today are trying to compete as men’s rules and not women’s. Also take a look at the advantages given to women in their leagues. Shorter tees in golf. A smaller ball in basketball and a shorter 3-point line. Additionally when women compete directly with men in contact sports they have failed. And when they are required to use the men’s tee blocks in pro golf, not one women has ever made the cut on Friday.

And a lot of the sports mentioned as being able to stay afloat is because they are Olympic sports and are financially backed by the federal government or private investing firms to compete for the US getting television revenue or a piece of the t-shirts and hats. Professional sports is a business and winning is the major fact of success. To win, you have to be bigger, stronger, faster, and the length and density of bones is a real assistance. Women, have grace to look good, but they don’t have the physical attributes to compete against men peers at that level.
