Gas prices may very well be going up, but are they going to turn off Niagara Falls too? That’s what generates my electricity, though I admit I don’t know what or how many other resources might be used in the generation and transmission of that hydroelectricity. I thought the whole system ran on the power of fast-moving water as it flowed from Lake Erie, got squeezed into the narrow Niagara River, and then spilled over into Lake Ontario as the spectacular Niagara Falls.
