Jon Stewart has issued a formal apology for old jokes of his that mocked transgender people.
During the season two premiere of the comedian-turned-commentator's Apple TV+ show The Problem with Jon Stewart, the former host of the Daily Show mounted a defense of the transgender community.
Included in that defense was an apology for jokes he made at the expense of transgender people while he hosted The Daily Show on Comedy Central from 1999 to 2015.
He called his old jokes 'sh***y and reductive,' before saying, 'Sh***y and reductive jokes are kind of my brand.'
Stewart introduced the subject during his opening monologue of an episode called The War Over Gender, during which he insisted that there are more than two genders and those who identify outside the binary deserve to be recognized in culture and society.

Apple TV is probably the worst. It is so woke it is unwatchable.

It’s not polite to mock the mentally ill, at least that’s what they tell me.
Just an idea, but if the trannies would stop doing a first class job of showing themselves as rediculous, they just might not be regarded as such by 99.99999999% of the population. Get a stage and some rooms for later, STFU, and have all the ‘fun’ that you want. We actually didn’t give a s**t what you do until you paraded it in our faces.

More than two genders? I know there are over 50 different “gender identities” discovered so far, but there are still just the two biological sexes.
Or maybe I’m confused? In a world in which even the brilliant minds of Supreme Court justices cannot define what a woman is, maybe I’m just out of touch with the latest politically correct (fill in the blank)...

I so couldn’t care less about Jon Stewart I could barely muster the momentum to click on this thread. I have a feeling I have a lot of company.
Don Rickles he ain’t. Nothing and no one was off the table for Rickles and his act was great!
He still suffers from depression because of the untimely death of his sister Fawn. He hasn’t had any good sex since.
