Had to read it 4 times.
You are experiencing the exact same reaction to the headline that I had.
Who writes these things?
Are there no longer editors who hand the copy back to the reporter and say “go re-write this and if you hand me another article written in gibberish you can clean out your desk?”
This story is tragic and the poor sentence structure of the headline is more evidence of the unacceptable educational system in the USA.
A public-school failure wrote the headline.
In a better world the perpetrator would be executed in short order.
It infers no such thing. That’s exactly what it says.
“Woman jailed in killing of student on motor scooter is released on bond”.
That wasn’t so hard, now was it?
How much should I be making as an editor?
Agreed; I’m just noting that the purposes of bail do not include punishment. They do include making sure the accused shows up and ensuring that he / she is not presenting a danger in the meantime, such that she should be locked up. Of course, our 1/6 persecutors are ignoring this. As are the Soros prosecutors in cities across America.
That’s not the actual headline from the story.
Why do posters have such apparent difficulty copying and pasting the EXACT headline? It’s not rocket science after all.
Yeah, I guess writing a coherent headline is just too difficult for today’s news professionals. Such idiots.
Typical.
Woman kills man. “Give me a break.”
Man kills woman. Everyone here loses their collective thirsty simp cuck shiite.
Why was the killed person in jail?
Huh? It is a miracle for a dead person to bond out of jail! Now that is a headline!
Are you sure you copied the headline correctly?
Per info at the linked article it was updated about 3 hours after being originally posted. Perhaps they corrected the headline at that time.
Makes sense
What school did the author of this article go to?
What school did the editor of the article go to?
Hope they can both get refunds.
