Last month I read Dickens's
A Tale of Two Cities.
The only other Dickens I've read are A Christmas Carol and Great Expectations (the latter in high school).

A very good Dickens book off the beaten path is "Martin Chuzzlewit". Long, but worth the read, and light in tone compared to Bleak House. It is also the book from which we get the term "Pecksniffian".
