PS speaking of “Military generals”... I was thinking about Milley. I have had a slight suspicion he may be a good guy playing a role. Kelly and Mattis are retired. What other non-retired general who were around Trump are there, I wonder.

FYI - I caught an interview with “Podium Guy” the other day - he’s a total PLANT, says he came to like Trump so he and a friend “bought tickets” to a Trump RALLY (which are free) and that he was already in the Capitol before Trump finished speaking on Jan6.
Not a flying one, BUT . . . . at the hotel in London I stayed at years ago, a two-incher magically appeared in the drain at the exact moment I stepped in to take a shower. Damn near screamed like a girl.

DeSantis Attended Officer’s Funeral Instead of Zeldin Fundraiser
Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis missed the fundraiser for New York gubernatorial candidate, Rep. Lee Zeldin, on Sunday night due to the death of Florida Department of Law Enforcement Special Agent Jose Perez, Politico is reporting.
Perez’s funeral mass was scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, according to the outlet, which explains the “unforeseen tragedy” that resulted in the governor’s absence.
The special agent died on Aug. 20 as a result of injuries from a vehicle crash on Aug. 2, in which a driver struck his car while on duty in West Miami-Dade, according to WSVN.
The other driver in the accident is facing charges for driving under the influence, such as vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter, CBS News reported.
Although there was some confusion about the tragedy that led DeSantis to cancel First Lady Casey DeSantis posted a tweet early Monday morning mourning the loss of Perez.

I’ve never seen a flying cockroach, but I saw a 4 inch walking cockroach on the wall of the ballroom in the Marriott Hotel on Canal Street in New Orleans. I pointed it out to the videographer who was filming the card play since it was right behind him. He was very nonchalant about it and said “Oh, that’s just a sewer roach.” He must have been a local to not mind, but it completely freaked me out and I watched for that monster and his relatives the rest of the bridge tournament. (**shudder**)
