My lawn service tells me, “The best way to control weeds in your lawn is to have thick growth of healthy grass.”
Seems about right to me.
Grass is a nutrient hog and a waste of time (although it makes great hot compost). Mulch it and grow something interesting that mostly takes care of itself. Lawns are boring.
