This film has a scene where Jeremy Thorpe, British politician, tears up and flushes love letters from his young boyfriend. The scandal took place in the 1970’s. The movie is full of dry humor, and is quite revealing about the homosexual influence in the British Parliament.
Agreed. A man as rich and beleaguered at TtT would probably employ someone to efficiently dispose of all his notes.
