Close friends of Anne Heche fear she is going to die from smoke inhalation after her car burst into vicious flames following a 'drugged-up' crash in Los Angeles.
The actress, 53, is in a coma fighting for her life in the 'worst state you can imagine' after crashing her car into a house at 90mph while 'high on cocaine' last Friday.
It was reported that cocaine was found in Heche's blood stream following the horrific crash - but officials confirmed that she had not been drinking alcohol, despite being pictured with a vodka bottle in her cupholder.
Now, those close to her fear that smoke inhalation from the fiery collision will kill her as they pray for a 'miracle.'
A close friend of the actress told DailyMail.com: 'She is in a terrible condition. The smoke inhalation is life threatening.
'It will be a miracle if she recovers from this and comes out of this coma.'
The friend added: 'She needs everyone’s prayers. She is in the worst state you can imagine. Whatever you believe in, please pray for her, please.'

Smoke inhalation as in a fire is deadly many many times. The super heated smoke destroys lung tissue.

She is (soon to be was) a very unhappy and screwed up person. Humans have the capability to be very self destructive.
It is very fortunate that no other people were injured or killed from her actions.
My cousin used to be the director of a burn center in a major hospital, and he told me the hard part about treating burn victims was to keep them alive long enough for the actual burns to be treated.

She was raped by her father. Current education will expose a lot of children to llfe-long problems. Bank it.
I agree. Her life is essentially over with any real quality to it.
If it were me, and I pray I never do anything so stupid, I would want to go on to whatever is next. Pay a penance, whatever it takes to be redeemed.
People in her condition rarely make it. I think those close to her are being prepared for that end. It sounds like she is basically being kept alive by life support machines. Once those are turned off or removed she will die. We saw this over and over with the improper covid treatment using ventilators and the wrong meds (on purpose). Once they go on the ventilator their chance drop to almost nothing.
As soon as the lungs can’t move enough air to her system to keep it alive she will pass on.
From what’s been reported, and that Heche herself has said, she wasn’t handling life well before the crash. So if she does survive it’s unlikely she’ll handle life with her wounds etc any better. Though she may have support from friends and fans I doubt that will be sufficient to offset her otherwise inner battles let alone the physical scars etc. she’ll be contending with.
