Actress Anne Heche joked about drinking vodka with wine chasers in the most recent episode of her podcast
She seemed to slur her words as she and co-host Heather Duffy said a company provided them with free alcohol to try on their show
They said they were following the advice of a doctor who told them to drink vodka instead of wine, but noted they are using wine to chase down the vodka
Heche then goes on to say she is having a bad day in the episode that aired Friday
The 53-year-old actress crashed her Mini Cooper into a Mar Vista home that morning
She had earlier been pictured with a bottle of vodka in her car
Authorities say she was able to speak with firefighters on the scene following a fiery crash in Los Angeles
LA Fire Department Captain Erik Scott said she was trapped in her car as the fire began to spread, but noted: 'She was talking to us at the time that we were able to pull her out'
Heche was later filmed rising up off a hospital trolley as she was wheeled into an ambulance
A neighbor recounted how fire department officials had to use a crane to pull her out of the car
A photo from earlier on Friday shows Heche moments before the second accident at the wheel with a bottle of vodka with a red cap plonked in the cup holder
The 53-year-old suffered horrific burns during the collision and was recorded being dragged out of the mangled wreck by firefighters after it burst into flames in LA around 11am

Straight vodka with a wine chaser? Gack. She looks like 20 miles of bad road in that photo and my sympathy meter fails to move for her injuries. Fortunately no one else was hurt by her selfish stupidity.
I believe she has a history of mental problems. Kind of sad.
I’m glad no one else was injured, it could have ended much worse.
Don’t forget to sue the homeowner for having that building in her path!

What about suing the house company? Recklessly putting houses next to roads where any reasonable person would reasonably believe liberal elites would be drunk driving.
So, she has a bad day on her podcast, unaware it would get much worse drinking and driving because she feels entitled to ignore laws. Laws that they regularly say they support in their celebrity public service announcement spots.
