Agreed.
This place is not f**ing and not terrifying either.
So what, old Burger King, not really dirty.
Why is this women (I suppose it is women) so exited?
Seems good to me, too.
Looks like you could darn near fire it up and be back in business. All I saw was that it needed a couple ceiling tiles replaced. Fix whatever needs fixing, and replace the registers with current ones.
I fail to see the (expletive) "creepy" factor.
“she included eerie video footage of the restaurant, which she described as “terrifying.”
Our young people are so weak and fragile the future of this nation is doomed.
When every word is a swear word, swearing ceases to exist. Just sounds emitting from a profane, empty-headed parody of a human being.
Those padded seats are so much more comfortable than the curved Formica ones.
Heck yeah. I'd usually go to the ones on Air Force bases, and never had a problem.
I know that this is an unpopular opinion, but I'm good with McD's too.
If you have one that is well run, and there seem to be fewer and fewer of those, it is not a bad meal.
Although their shakes are sub-par.
But BK seems to be staffed with Wendy's rejected employees.
And their silly SJW shtick leaves me disinclined to go there.
This is often, the reason some chain restaurants demolish their older restaurants instead of just closing the doors and painting the windows.
What’s creepy about it?
The language of that girl is non stop, foul and very unladylike.
Ad people had fun with that “Whopper” brainstorm at BBDO.
A few burger-chain purists said Burger Chef was the best. Went defunct years ago.
McDonald’s had to give way to the “health food” purists. The chain used to ecologically use the leftover lard to fry their apple pies and french fries, and they were much better-tasting that way. Now the pies aren’t even fried anymore, they’re baked. Miss Grundy likes to ruin everything.
My next essay will be on the original Wise potato chips.
We haven’t been to a BK in 25 years. The one near where we lived in Rio Rancho (for NM Freepers, the one off 528 near Obregon Rd) was amazingly slow. You could go there and order food when they weren’t busy, and it would take 30 minutes to get your order. It was like that for years, which makes you wonder.
I remember also being in a BK where the urinals in the men’s room were next to the door (that opened into the dining room) and there was no privacy shield. I mean WTAF?
The girl doesn’t like being alone in a dark place. Probably afraid some rapist is lurking back there waiting for her. The cussing represents her fears. A bit on the histrionic side, but in today’s world with tv and horror and crime movies poisoning young folks minds...not really surprising.
I used to work with a girl who was terrified that a ghost had turned on a water faucet in our office. When I mansplained it was a dirty light sensor and cleaned off the light sensor for the faucet it stopped the water flow. Lot’s of people cannot cope with the world.
Ginos after Gino Marchetti. Yes! A little farther south on Concord Pike. Across from Lynthwaites ice cream right?
I agree. Maybe I’d feel different about if if I saw it in person but it doesn’t look that much different from a 2022 fast food restaurant.
Exactly. It’s nostalgia. Making stupid crap out of nothing.
To these clowns, everything old is creepy. Bunch a nancies’..
Yes, but my local Gino’s was in Jersey.
IMHO, the Gino Giant was way better than the Big Mac.
