Here in Indiana, it’s quite rare to see a black person with a mask.
I understand still-irrationally frightened, still-irretrievably ignorant people believing the delusion that a mask will in any way affect transmission of a respiratory virus, but what I don’t understand (and what I condemn) is people in the medical industry promoting what they know to be untrue (that is, they know it’s a lie). The most vile of which is a doctor telling a patient who really does need to prevent being exposed to the Fauci Flu that if they wear a mask and be around only with those who wear a mask, that they will be protected. They are not protected! It’s physically impossible for a mask — including an N95 mask or a “surgical” mask — even if worn by a person trained in the selection, application, fit-testing, wearing and maintenance of a mask — to prevent in any measurable way transmission of a respiratory virus. It’s a vile lie ... and this fiction, this lie gets people sick ... in some cases, very sick.
