Good call. I've got a book coming out, the main premise is that the Holy Roman Empire was invented by Robin, the Boy Wonder. First I prove that the comic book character was based on a real person, and to really sell it, showed that his existence was suppressed because he had gender dysphoria. Gonna be a best-seller!

As a matter of fact, college-level history professors haven’t described the transition from antiquity to the early middle ages as the “dark ages” in decades. Most historians will tell you that term only really applied to the Roman identity, anyway, and that non-Roman cultures experienced a “naissance” during this time.
