Do you really live forever if you don’t drink or does it just feel like forever?

“...causes structural damage and brain volume loss equivalent to 10 years of aging.

This was poorly researched by not using professional determinations.

“In the United States, a standard beer is 12 ounces (355 mL). Drinking one or two standard beers per day may have positive effects, such as benefits to your heart, better blood sugar control, stronger bones, and reduced dementia risk.”

https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/is-beer-good-for-you#bottom-line

Beer is sometimes used to prevent heart disease and stroke. It is also used to reduce the chance of death from heart attack, for preventing decline of thinking skills later in life, for Alzheimer disease, and for many other conditions...

Nutrition Information
One can of beer (about 12 ounces) contains:

Calories: 153
Protein: 2 grams
Fat: Less than 1 gram
Carbohydrates: 13 grams
Fiber: Less than 1 gram
Sugar: Less than 1 gram

Depending on the color, some beers are also good sources of antioxidants. The darker the beer, the more antioxidants it tends to have. Antioxidants fight free radicals in your body, reducing the risk of chronic conditions and certain forms of cancer.

Beer is an excellent source of:

Potassium
Magnesium
Calcium
Phosphorus
Niacin
Folate

I have to equate this “study” to the CDC’s determination years ago that beer consumption had a common connection to unwanted pregnancies.

“Women’s and girls’ bodies respond to alcohol differently than men’s. It takes less alcohol for women to get intoxicated because of their size and how they process alcohol.

Binge drinking can lead to unintended pregnancies.”

https://www.cdc.gov/vitalsigns/bingedrinkingfemale/index.html#:~:text=Binge%20drinking%20can%20lead%20to,by%20the%20mother‘s%20alcohol%20use.

Thought I was kidding, didn’t you? And they get paid for this.

Thanks Red Badger.

Two a day will shorten your life, but those last years were gonna suck anyway.

Sounds like more Islam on the March BS, like the mandatory face coverings.

But of course it takes 10 years of that abuse, for the brain to age 10 years. 🙂

If we lost 10 years of brain function every time we drank 2 beers, many would not even last a week of drinking 2 beers a day, before rendering themselves as totally brain dead. 😋

From the study you linked:

"We show that both long term alcohol abstinence and excessive alcohol consumption may increase the risk of dementia".

Well, that clears it up.
