This is the DC show theme that lasted longest, I think; Ian Hunter wrote it as "England Rocks", it was altered to "Cleveland Rocks" for the opening of the R&R Hall of Fame, and performed for the DC show by "Presidents of the United States of America".Drew Carey Theme Song Extended | August 17, 2006 | rosscoroni

Here’s a tribute to one of the instrumental sections on “First Circle”, by Pat Metheny. This was one of the first things I transcribed when I got accepted to Berklee.
Boca Livre has an amazing acapella arrangement of this song, so I decided to learn it and add to the original arrangement, paying tribute to both of them :)

Why does Western music divide the octave into 12 different notes? Why not 13, or 19 or 24 notes? For such a simple sounding question, the answer is actually a tangle of history, physics and human preference. Get ready for some serious music theory! Why Does Music Only Use 12 Different Notes? | July 27, 2020 | David Bennett Piano

This is truly a piece I've been trying to nail almost since I started playing guitar in 2006. Not wildly difficult to play, but deceptively tricky to play well. At the beginning and end of the video are snippets of me as a 16 year old trying to play it on the Ibanez PF-512 guitar I had at the time. I now attempt it on my 1969 Martin D-12-35. Hopefully the attempt is worthy of the instrument. Apologies to Cory Wong for copping his style.
Also, as a side note, sirens: a hallmark of my recordings since 2008.Patreon Patrons get to see my 16-year-old self rush the hell out of this piece, bad technique and all.Snorkel - Leo Kottke Cover | September 27, 2019 | Josh Turner Guitar

This is what got me thinking about it:
Rare live footage of Stan playing 45 Years at Camp Fortune ski resort just north of Ottawa. I believe this was August 1, 1977 but I'm not 100% sure. The bassist playing with Stan and Garnet is David Woodhead.Stan Rogers - 45 Years (Live at Camp Fortune, Gatineau QC, Summer 1977)
