Been taking the Amazon one daily for almost a year now. Along with Vitamins B, C and D.
Worried that the tyrants will ban it.
Right at the beginning of this crap, I and another Freeper we’re discussing ‘this. I said I got the zinc,C, and D down pat. He said add Quercetin I did. Ain’t hurt me and I don’t give a damn about the common cold or flu or the China BS. I’m 70 and ain’t stayed at Holiday Inn. LGBFJB 👌
The thing to remember about quercetin is low bioavailability and short half life. When I had the ‘rona I took it about 5 times a day with a zinc supplement in the evening.

“Bromelain” is in Pineapple and is mixed with salt in Adolph’s Meat Tenderizer.

Yeah but you cant get enough just from a little pineapple.
You need it as a supplement, and for it to work the way you want it to for illness, take it on an empty stomach.

Well my doctor gave me a series of drugs including steroids. I took palmitoylethanolamide for neuroinflammation and quercetin/zinc to inhibit viral replication. My fever only lasted four days, No respiratory problems. Symptoms were very mild compared to the flu.
I dont believe that is true. Bromelain is supposed to have anti-inflammatory properties and assist in the absorption of C but is not a zinc ionophore itself.
Apparently most people have no problem with bromelain. Ive noticed in the past that I seem to be sensitive to things derived from pineapple concentrates. My initial attempts to supplement my quercetin went really very wrong. Among those things were increased joint pain and large strange very painful abscess like pillows forming in my mouth nearly pushing out my lower incisors. This is when I realized that the quercetin I had purchased contained bromelain. I should have known better.
If a person cant find quercetin by itself and they are pineapple sensitive then I would think that increasing natural sources may be a better choice. I cant prove it but can offer this, my diet compared to the average person is likely significantly higher in onions, apples, blueberries, and cranberries. I drink coffee at work but tend to prefer tea at home and I drink a lot of it.
Someone I was in direct contact with on a daily basis came and stayed in my home when they brought the Alpha cooties from Spain. I didnt catch the cooties or at least had no symptoms.
During the “we all gonna dah” plague of Delta I worked “unprotected” doing direct care in an apartment building full of people that all supposedly had cooties. I didnt catch the cooties or at least had no symptoms.

Im an aging, overweight, chain smoking, nevervaxxx, diabetic. Im certain to have died several times by now. Except that where I was working it was the young modern diet sit in the basement and play video game vaxxxed kids that all caught the cooties. In fact, it was only aging, overweight, chain smoking, diabetic, notavaxxx resistant management personnel that showed up every day to fill those empty slots in the schedule without themselves having any symptoms or missing a day.
Of course there are other dietary elements (D) that are much higher in an local older rural persons diet than what the kids get that may play a big part and we tend to spend more time outside collecting D. That likely plays a big part of it too.
I guess all I know for sure is that the government and the plants on this forum are lying. The only people Ive seen get severely ill from cooties (the diagnosis itself highly questionable) are those that have been subjected to the notavaxxx.

We took 250mg twice daily (QBCPlex: quercitin, vitamin c and bromelain) with 50 mg zinc /copper when we had it. Got thru it pretty well.
Been on Quercetin for 2 years now with C, D3, Zinc and NAC, 2 fricking years NEVER missing a day!!

We’ve had quercitin/C on hand since February 2020. I credit primarily quercitin/zinc/vit D with my mild case of Covid in the winter of 2021. My husband and I were exposed to omicron last week, so we’ve boosted our anti-viral supplements. We both feel some mild discomforts which we assume are from the virus trying to gain a foothold. We’re not worried and figure that a mild omicron episode just burnishes our immunity. At this point he’s had alpha, I’ve had beta, and we’re both now fending off omicron. We take some other supplements, but these are the ones I never skip.
