Don’t over think this. He’ll be fine. You and your wife may or may not get Covid, but you’ll also be fine. Unlike you have other health co-morbitities, Covid is a cold or the flu.
My son who lives with us just got over Covid. He didn’t feel great for a few days, but otherwise nothing. He been back to work this week. My wife and I? Nothing. So take the commonly suggested supliments and you’ll get through this.
And your dogs? That may be the trickier part of all this.
Something went through my son’s group of friends (all vaxxed but him) all got sick exact same time, exact same symptoms - none tested positive to covid, two to FLU A, one to strep and the rest were told “random virus”. These are 18-20 age group (all healthy, no risk factors)
Whatever it was, it was like a cold (sneezing, sore throat, congestion, headache, mild fever) Fever broke after 3rd day, cough has lingered a week now but not in his lungs, more like a sinus drainage cough.
I treated it like I would covid “just in case”, minus the ivermectin (I had it ready to go). So, zinc, Vit d, c, quercertin, mucenix, airborne, lots of hot tea/manuka honey/lemon.
Hubby and I never got sick which surprised me, I did not isolate him - I was in his germ filled room, maskless, 20 times a day, lol.
Nyquil and sleep. Drink a lot of water.
