Do you have a blood oximeter? Assuming it is Omicron and there are no comorbidities, ride it out keeping an eye on blood O2. Sniffles is a symptom of Omicron. Only one of the monoclonals has any effect (not a lot) on Omicron, so do check into that. Other than that, Omicron is the least virulent (how sick it makes you) of the variants and the most contagious.

Ask for some prayers. There are a few people that get very sick from it, but the vast majority do not.

As it happens, my wife is giving me the new Apple Watch for Christmas. Oops, not supposed to know that! It has a blood oxygen function.

Our son was out clubbing it in Nashville last week, and apparently, they have a big outbreak of Omicron there. Here’s hoping it’s that…

It's called a Pulse Oximeter...They measure HR and SpO2

The little finger one's are useful....But you can get different numbers on different digits.

Cold hands / fingers...hard to get SpO2 numbers...I've used a full time continuous Pulse OX...on many Pt's...sometimes we have better luck with the ear lobes....but you can't use the finger POX on the ear....

False readings are common...Movement, chewing with ear lobe placement....finger placement is good when the Pt. doesn't move much....

FWIW-
