I am a remote IT worker for a big federal contractor that has a no jab, no job policy. I told them I’m not getting the jab, and termination day is currently Jan 5. I don’t think it will really happen due to all of the lawsuits, but I’m prepared if it does. It’s really affecting my team because nobody knows who will be around in another month, and planning anything has been really difficult. I live in Florida and considering submitting a Florida ‘I will wear PPE around others’ form (since I don’t work around others) from the law DeSantis signed. However I really have a problem asking for permission to do something I think is ludicrous for a mandate I think is ludicrous.

Agreed.

I have been remote since this stupid hysteria began and they shut the college. Not that I want to be. But honestly, I have not been on campus one inch of car since this started. Though I often pass it and park next to it for doctor issues.

It’s absurd that remote people are required to vax.

But that’s what our asinine president’s PTB came up with. Pretty funny because when I first complained to the “emergency ops” people (that was to whom we were directed to direct questions) about these dates (no plan yet), man in EO stated to me he couldn’t believe they’d require it of people who work off site.

Well, was he wrong!

I’m copying all my e-mails.
