As in much of Zimbabwe, here the coronavirus is quickly being relegated to the past, as political rallies, concerts and home gatherings have returned.
“COVID-19 is gone, when did you last hear of anyone who has died of COVID-19?” Ndou said. “The mask is to protect my pocket,” he said. “The police demand bribes so I lose money if I don’t move around with a mask.”

Because of the extreme heat in Africa and malaria, the usage of HCL and invermectin is widespread and VERY common. As such, the CCP-Coronavirus is quickly beaten down by these ‘dangerous’ drugs. After all, HCL has ONLY been used as a medicine for 50+ years, and ONLY 2.3 BILLION courses of ivermectin have been prescribed since its discovery. VERY dangerous drugs.

In addition, spiritually, God is respected, and a great many Africans pray to, and DEPEND upon His Provision. Not so much in ‘the West’, the ‘post-Christian’ West. Perhaps God has removed his hedge of protection over the former ‘Christendom’, but not Africa.

The thing is - if Ivermectin works so well - why are no nations actually prescribing it. I’m not saying I don’t believe in the conspiracy theory but you’d think Russia or China or Iran or any non-western civ aligned nation would be giving it to their people and leading the way.

i recently resorted to using it for an issue related to neuropathy. it helped. not a long term solution but i certainly see why it has been used for so long for a variety of issues.
i had never heard of it until i saw someone say the tea made from the bark helped with his Covid
as always...you have to be careful with your liver when using these kinds of products
Africa has lots of things going for it. Black people here get COVID more than average. Black people in Africa get COVID far less than average. Here are some reasons:
First, the whole continent is younger. Where they are older like South Africa and Egypt, there was far more disease. AIDS wiped out many older people so the average age is around 30. And there are very few elderly people.
Second, Africans do not have a weight issue like Africans in Europe and especially the US. Being obese raises your rate of having a bad outcome from COVID by 300%
African countries can not get vaccinated like other countries. Many are too poor to refrigerate the vaccines. So they have used anti-virals. Which have worked.
African death rates are high to begin with. Also their record keeping is low. So, COVID will not decrease the life expectancy much and there aren’t many to record how people die.
And for those who think China did it on purpose. There are a million Chinese in Africa. They could have spread it there like they spread it to every other country that works closely with China. But China gave it to Europe and America. They need Africa. So they did not spread it to Africa early on. There were zero or practically zero cases in Africa for a long while. Then they started to pop up in Egypt and South Africa where there is more contact with Europe. China clearly gave it to Italy through the thousands of Chinese who work there.

there may be a lot of blood mutations there that are though to have evolved to deal with malaria such as thalassemia and g6pd. dont know if there have been any good studies to see how abnormal blood types like that handle covid 19.
i do know they were surprised early on at what happened in italy but some theorized it was because thalassemia people stayed home

I agree that ivermectin is not used to prevent round worm infestations, only to cure them, at least that is my experience in tropical countries. However it appears a WHO program has been widely distributing ivermectin in some African countries to prevent river blindness.
African countries participating in the WHO program to prevent river blindness have a 28% lower Covid fatality rate (but only 8% lower infection rate) than those African countries that did not, according to preliminary statistical studies (not peer reviewed and further research is certainly needed):

As for HCQ, it has rarely been used for malaria treatment (let alone prophylaxis) for many years now, as P. falciparum is chloroquine resistanWt in nearly all of sub-Saharan Africa (same as SE Asia).
The good news is that it has been out of use for so many years now that chloroquine-sensitive strains are beginning to emerge:

Notice this “busy market” is an open-air market? I suspect the lack of climate-controlled buildings (central HVAC) in most of sub-Saharan Africa may be among the reasons they have been spared the worst of Covid. There are likely several factors at work, with this perhaps among them.
