It was disclosed days ago it was real ammo.
I saw that press conference. The Sheriff made a few contradictory statements. He first said there were more rounds in the gun, later said there was only one round. He said it was a bullet, then he said it was a “suspected bullet pending ballistics”.
That had to be like getting hit by a fast moving Oldsmobile.
What part of "loaded with a live lead bullet" is confusing to you?

I thought using a gun that COULDN’T fire live rounds would be the obvious choice for this very reason.
Sounds like he had his presser a little prematurely.
Most old cap and ball pistols were converted to cartridges. This annoys gun collectors. Too bad for them. Someone would be a fool to keep using cap and ball once cartridges became available.
I don’t hear much about the woman that was murdered and realize that’s what these stories are about. But has anyone seen anything about what her families intentions are?
SHOULD BE: Baldwin was drawing a revolver across his body and pointing it at the victim while rehearsing when he fired the weapon, according to court documents.

It was described as a "bullet fragment", suggesting there was not actually a complete live bullet in the gun.
Alec Baldwin was an innocent bystander.
He was just standing there pulling the trigger while aiming at a woman, when the gun shot the woman.
