March 11, 2021. It was supposed to be a turning point in the coronavirus pandemic for Erin Tokley, a longtime Philadelphia police officer, Baptist minister and 47-year-old father of three. It was supposed to be the day of his vaccine appointment.
Instead it was the date of his funeral.
Tokley — “Toke” to his friends and family — died on March 3, becoming the Philadelphia Police Department’s sixth confirmed COVID-19 death.
Philadelphia officers first became eligible for their shots in late January and Tokley was eager to get it as soon as he could. But he fell ill in early February, before it was his turn to roll up his sleeve. […]
In the first half of 2021, 71 law enforcement officials in the U.S. died from the virus — a small decrease compared to the 76 who died in the same time period in 2020, per data compiled by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. Last year, the total figure was 241 — making the virus the the leading cause of law enforcement line-of-duty deaths.
Despite the deaths, police officers and other first responders are among those most hesitant to get the vaccine and their cases continue to grow. No national statistics show the vaccination rate for America’s entire population of first responders but individual police and fire departments across the country report figures far below the national rate of 74% of adults who have had at least one dose.
Frustrated city leaders are enacting mandates for their municipal employees — including police officers and firefighters — as the delta variant surges. …

If those groups wishing to not have forced vaccine mandates banded together, they could cripple the country. First responders, hospitals, truckers, ..., that alone would hit everyone hard.
As a group these folks are pretty plugged into the medical establishment coupled with a low Bullshit threshold.

I have come to believe that the anti-vaxers are right when I read that the CDC says that 23% of covid 19 deaths are vaccinated. If all these people dying from the virus are vaccinated, it means that the vaccines do not protect you from getting it or passing it along. It means they do not work, so why get vaccinated? I was vaccinated with the J&J vaccine on march 23 of 2021. I will not get any booster shot if 23% of deaths from this virus are among vaccinated people. The anti-vaxers are right to refuse to get vaccinated.

I was just over at the Worldometer site, and I noticed that Poland and Hungary have completely escaped the steep summer increase in Covid-19 cases that has plagued so many other countries. They have very few new cases and almost no deaths. I wonder what their treatment protocols are for Covid-19, and if any prophylactic measures (e.g., Vitamin D3, Zinc) are widely used there?
I want the stats about how many people with antibodies from having Covid get it a second time? Is it anywhere near the breakthru cases? If there are no reportable stats then I suspect it’s because those stats don’t fit the vaccinate or else mandates.
