Good question! from reading the order it sounds like he wants to use the National Guard in medical care situations. But that part about being able to institutionalize someone, involuntary commitment, with a phone call interview just sounds wrong. Why you even change it. If that’s not the process today, why make it easier?
Well I trust the Tennessee legislature. They are typically very conservative. If he’s doing something sneaky, I imagine they could override it? I’m not sure what you can do with an executive order.

The same with me. If I happen to fall asleep I wake up feeling like I had been on a binge the day before.
I too used to not be able to sleep at night but when my husband was in rehab for a month the 1st time back in 2001 it was the first time we had been separated. I started listening to a little portable radio on the TALK channels. It wouldn’t be long before I was asleep. I couldn’t listen to music because I would start to sing along with them. No TV because the flashing of the light from it would keep me awake. Talk radio was the ticket. I have it quietly right up near my ear.
Maybe you could try that.
I think “pipe down” is a naval term. I think. But maybe I didn’t put my pipe down soon enough.
