The way you word that you left out how the states have a contract with each other.

you're right after the civil war the contract changed a lot. Though the underlining concept of what the constitution is still applies which means it's a contract.

The contract is between the states not the individual. Though some of it applies to the individual agreed to by the states.

Clearly this will not change your mind. Tell me in legal terms what is a constitution in your opinion?

You reminded me that ol' Ben Rumson was married to Elizabeth under "mining law", with Ben being granted exclusive rights to "all her mineral resources."   Because "Mining Law" was the only law recognized in the uncivilized No Name City.

LOL   That was a contract too.
