Where are the electric tractors and combines needed to plant and harvest food crops? How does a tractor or combine get recharged in the middle of a field? Add food shortages and starvation to the effects of the Green New Deal.

“ Where are the electric tractors and combines needed to plant and harvest food crops?”

Not exactly the same thing; but....

For heavy equipment there are already models that use a diesel engine to provide electricity that powers the equipment. It’s a bit more money upfront but lower operating costs and greater torque/power. As long as the government idiots don’t insist on “recharging” electric vehicles these things can make sense.

Using electric power rather than pneumatics is a plus.
