Gun sales in the United States have soared in 2020 following a year of radical-left violence against the backdrop of a global pandemic.
Americans purchased 21 million firearms this year, according to the latest figures.
The number marks a staggering increase of 73 percent over the number purchased in 2019.
The estimated 21 million guns sold was revealed in an ABC News report that quotes figures from The Trace.
ABC claims the buying surge is the result of a “perfect storm” consisting of “the pandemic, economic recession, civil unrest, and a divisive presidential election.”
The network spoke to a mother of three named Trish Beaudet, who says she has never owned a firearm before but is now buying one for herself and one for her 25-year-old daughter.

Divorced mother of two and “self-described Democrat” Erin Hart told a similar story.
“My nightmare scenario would be being at home alone, middle of the night, and just myself and, you know, the boys, and, and someone coming in to harm us,” Hart said.
“When things start to hit a little closer home it kind of makes you sit up and think about it.”
November 2020 was the 11th consecutive month of record background checks for gun sales, according to Breitbart.
FBI figures showed there were 3,626,335 National Instant Criminal Background System (NICS) checks performed in November 2020, which represented more checks than were performed in any November since NICS was established.

And people are not buying these firearms to surrender them to the government.
Assuming a 400 million firearm starting point, 21 million added to that is slightly over a 5% increase in a single year. That is a yuge increase. If it happens again in 2021, that means another 22 million firearms added to the stock. If it kept up for the entire Harris administration (assuming they get in) US citizens would collectively own a half a billion firearms.
