Next time Jupiter & Saturn come closer is Christmas 2874 at 0.039°
Unless you can get to Neptune on 4/29/2046, there Jupiter will occult Saturn 0.000°

Jupiter and Saturn have been fairly close to each other in the night sky for weeks now. Jupiter is a good deal brighter and to the lower right of Saturn. Meanwhile, high in the west is an even brighter (orange) “star”, Mars. Outside of Mars (at this time in Mars’ orbit), Jupiter is the brightest object in the night sky. Jupiter always appears white, Saturn a little yellowish. Mars looks orange due to its rusty surface. The planet is comprised of the same basic iron-bearing rock type as are our ocean basins (basalt).

For the last few months the PLANET PLUTO was seen in between Saturn and Jupiter.
You had to squint to see it but it was there.

In astrology circles, this alignment on the solstice is major. There have been several majors leading up to it (including the big one at the end of January that marked the impeachment and also kicked off COVID) but this one is supposed to usher in a massive global transformation. Like... even more major than the "pandemic."
And if you're not into astrology, then astronomically it's pretty cool too.

“Though the best viewing conditions will be near the equator, the event will be observable anywhere on Earth, weather-permitting.”
“weather permitting”
I guess it makes sense to say it, instead of having to field phone calls, as there’s probably a bunch of Democrats out there that don’t understand that other planets are further away from them than are atmospheric clouds.

Thanks for this.
Do we have an alarm clock to cause a repost nearer to the event so we can be reminded?
