Yes, from what he said it sounds like he had no idea he had it until it hit stage 4 which is horrifying, from feeling OK one day to being at deaths door the next. The sister of a friend of mine, her husband out of the blue one day became confused and couldn’t remember names and they found he had advanced aggressive brain cancer and in TWO WEEKS he was dead! I couldn’t believe it, and they were married less than a year, just an absolute nightmare.
My friend, Robert Sutton (retired Chief, Army MARS), was diagnosed the last week September with stage 4 lung cancer. They found it because it had spread to his brain (confused) and lymph nodes. He passed on 19 Oct, three weeks from diagnosis.
We sad to lose him but are glad that he didn’t have to suffer long.
