I voted in person today here in Los Angeles County, Rancho Palos Verdes to be exact. Hardly anybody was there so I was in and out without delay. I had to bring in my mail in ballot with envelope so they can scan the number and let me vote in person. The voting machines were amazing, touch screen plus two levels of review: electronic and paper. After your electronic review was ok, then it prints, if that is okay, then it takes the paper confirmation. Electronic machines with a paper trail, best of both worlds. They should use machines like this universally. The area I live in is very liberal so I was probably the only one in the voting center that voted for Trump. One thing that was concerning however, was that they didn’t destroy my mail-in ballot. I asked if they were going to do that and they claimed it was unnecessary because my unique number is the code. If I send in the mail in ballot plus voting early, my votes would be completely cancelled out. Needless to say, I went home and had my wife shred the mail-in ballot just to be sure.
