Hall County Ga, working the Murrayville Library voting location.

In this early election residents can vote at any open location, not just their home precinct.

Days one and two we had a good number of Ds come through. That trailed off by end of week as the lines shortened, but never slowed.

Our location was forecast to process 1000 voters in 3 weeks and we broke 1000 by noon of second day of voting. Thursday was our highest number of voters.

All ages, from first time voters to seniors who needed help in the booth.

Nearly 10% of votes cast were people canceling or surrendering their absentee ballots for fear of their vote not being counted.

Our area is safe red, roughly 80% Trump.

Will advise how next week goes.

Great report from north Georgia. Hall County went 74/23 Trump/Clinton in 2016 and will probably cast 75,000 ballots. Best part of your report was that 10% of voters were bringing in their mail ballots and surrendering them. This is the type of information that helps. Thanks.

Jefferson County, Kentucky. (Louisville)

This is the FIRST TIME Ky has ever had early voting.

Only 4 locations are available for the city. 3 are in downtown areas that are pre-dominantly minority, Dem areas. Only one... Marriott East.. was even close to the east side of the city/county, where all the Republicans live. Still, 10 miles from my home.

We went at 11 am on Thursday... third day of voting. It was VERY busy. Many workers were there, shepherding people through the process, which was very quick and easy.

All total, we took ~ 20 minutes to vote. Half of that was reading two very long amendment proposals.

There were 12 tables for checking in.. separated by alphabet. They have ipads with registration, and we have to "sign" with our fingers.... That makes signature comparison pretty much impossible.

They had ~ 40 voting booths. There was a very short line of people for each. 2-3 people max.

Nearly all people voting were Caucasians, 40+ years old. Many married couples. Quite a few seniors (65+). I'm 60. I felt young in this crowd. I saw a few people with MAGA hat, or other supportive shirts. In general, I'd say a friendly crowd for Trump.

We had pens to fill in our ovals, then... we put our ballots in the machine. In PAST years, we had a cover sheet, to hide our choices from the workers. This time, NO. Our selections were easily visible to the poll workers.

The poll workers themselves were mostly elderly (65+) and very friendly. Overall.. it was easy, and quick. Biggest problem was parking and traffic around the Marriott.
