However, the body needs 1,000 mg to 1,500 mg of cholesterol a day, and if you dont get it from food, your body has to make it.

This is debunked, or at least not supported by evidence. It’s the carbs that kill.

I was okay with this article until they mentioned cheese. I will not give up my cheese. Dieticians, if you want my cheese you had better bring an army with you.

6 of the 10 are on my regular diet. My cholesterol is fine at 60+ years. Avoid simple carbs, move, and MOST people can eat any fat they want!
Oh...and total cholesterol above 60 years of age isn’t associated with increased risk of death.

Sooo, looks like bacon is good-to-go!
Time to fry up a pound. Or two.

They can kiss my ass. Next week or next month or next year there’ll be another (or better yet, totally different) group of foods to avoid.
All things in MODERATION.

Avoiding carbs and sugar makes a lot more sense than avoiding cholesterol. More of the low fat hysteria.

You can probably raise your HDL into the 70 range by taking a 20 mg dexamethasone dose weekly in pill form. ... or at least that works for me and I can’t believe that I’m that unique.

Excluding the fast foods and desserts, that list looks like my regular diet. My hubby and I both lost 55 lbs eating those things, and my hubby was able to get off his cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes medications eating those foods. Seriously!
