Hello,
It turns out that many of us enjoy Tucker Carlson's Fox News show. This is a place to discuss the guests, the topics and other things that Tucker talks about.
Hannity does more ranting than anything else. Same points. He really doesn’t investigate or uncover anything. He just lets information come to him, then has a corresponding guest on to say a few 2/3 of a sentence about it. Hannity is slow on the uptake - if someone throws a good line at him, he is always caught flat footed. He’s not sharp. He is known to me and mine as Hannitus Interruptus, or Vannity.
Tucker, on the other hand, seems to have a keen sense of justice - digging into something and getting to the core. Telling us who is scamming and why. Tucker also has a sharp sense of humour, and I love his sarcasm.
Tucker is like a breath of fresh air. He is wise, truthful and reporting what other new networks purposefully miss. Tucker has got some things wrong (like not believing Biden would last and thinking Susan Rice would be the VP pick). But that pales in comparison to what he does get right. And what he gets right are the big themes — big themes that I hope Trump is watching and may learn something about Big Tech and his government, e.g., training in identity politics that goes on in government.
However, for a while I couldn’t take the bad news coming from Tucker and almost swore off him. I was getting bummed out. Tucker does such a good job reporting the bad news that it almost seems hopeless. The left seems to have so much stacked against Trump: resistance, riots, pandemic, economy, etc. And I think when is Trump’s winning streak going to end? My only suggestion to Tucker is to also report on the good news... and I think Tucker is now doing that.
Please add me to your ping list. Tucker is Never Miss TV at our house these days.
One last thing: Tucker has gone beyond debating liberals and I wish he would bring some of that back.
You can add me to your list. Tucker is fearless and nails it every night. I also like how he talks on things NOBODY else will touch. Another honorable mention might be Watters on the FIVE. His weekend show is good but on the light side. I love how he handles Juan on the FIVE. Him and Greg are hilarious to me.
Please add me to the list. Tucker is the man!
Agreed. Stop watching him a few years back. Same ole talking points and rarely lets a guest finish their statement. In comparison, Tucker will sit there and let his guests finish.
No doubt.
Im over Hannitys Tic-Toc nonsense.
And well as his kissing Linda Grahamss a$$.
Tucker has a very powerful show.
Forget the FIVE - it's meant to be light. Watters is getting more informative on his own show and often calls his guests on BS. He is coming into his own. And to think, he used to just have a Jay-Walking type segment on another Fox show. Even then, he showed how the average student is so ill-informed.
What a WONDERFUL idea!!
Thank you for starting this and PLEASE add me to your ping list.
Tucker is the best!!
After Tucker Carlson I can either watch Hannity or clean the cat litter boxes.
I clean the litter boxes every night....
true story....my dog got tired of Hannity on the radio about the same time I did. Radio on in the background
and when Sean came on I got the barking signal to switch or turn off. Which allowed the dog to go back to napping.
Thanks!
Ah yes, that show, "for the folks": The Bloviator Show.
IF you do start a ping list, please add me.
We used to watch Tucker at 8:00 and Hannity at 9:00. Now we record both of them to watch later if we miss them.
In real time we watch “Tipping Point” with Liz Wheeler at 9:00 on OAN. She is 1000% better than Hannity!
Last night we discovered “Focus” with Stephanie Hamill at 8:00 on OAN. She was at OAN long ago, then Fox stole her away. Now she’s back on OAN. It’s a new show, but she’s on her way to being great.
Hannity’s big problem at the present (besides his cutting in on guests’ comments, being long-winded, etc.) is that his night show now consists of stale news - news that viewers have been watching all day long.
His monologues are repetitive, rambling, poorly constructed, full of already-shopworn talking points, boring, tiresome, cliched and too long...and he and his writers and producers are too dumb to pick this up.
Hes busy and distracted with Ainsley.
“I wish he would bring some of that back.”
NOooooo !!! I think that why he’s been so great lately. We already know what a lib is gonna say.
Pls add me to the list.
So, I should write down the names of people who answered here and put them on the ping list?
____________
You can ping me. :-)
Hes been particularly helpful to a salon owner in San Francisco
___________
I wish she expressed herself more. Tucker had to drag out of her what effect all this had on her salon.
