911 is for generic emergency problems, the dispatcher could have patched over child services or a medical health team...

Do you know of any emergency child care agencies that will send out a team from a 911 call.
99% of the time they wait for the POLICE to sort things out.
Then getting them to act after hours is like pulling hens teeth.
As far as EMS going they all so wait for the POLICE to sort these types of calls out before acting.
EMS is great for helping hurt people but helping mentally ill people they are very lacking.
