Read the details. Property rights are protected, these are temporary situations and the landlords will be compensated from funds already at the President’s disposal. Plus most of these people are probably already in subsidized housing.
He’s taken an issue away from the Dems and also has limited it so they can’t do their “nobody ever has to pay rent again and by the way we’re seizing your property” shtick.
