Imagine if Gruber was a Undocumented Immigrant rather than a Legal Resident?
No protests for Al Leong? That dude was killed by everyone on screen between 1986 and 2004.
I do really miss Alan Rickman, aka Hans, a very talented actor gone far too soon. If you want a nice gentle movie, get 2008’s “Bottle Shock” (free on Amazon Prime). This is the true story about the 1976 wine competition between Californian and French wines where French wine experts ranked some California reds & whites over their French counterparts. Alan’s main character is a Brit with the unlikely name of Steven Spurrier and no, he is not the football one! FYI, I love his rented car!
He was excellent in “Galaxy Quest” and the only saving grace of Costner’s horrible “Robin Hood”.
I thought that the way he chewed up the rugs while acting as the Sheriff of Nottingham was outstanding! Easily the best role in that movie to have!
Galaxy Quest was the "ne plus ultra" of Star Trek homage/inspired films and it was MADE by Alan's anti-Spock!
I was thinking about his Nottingham. One of the worst movies ever with one of the best movie villains ever.
“I said I never had much use for one. Never said I didn’t know how to use it.” - “Quigley Down Under” 1990 One of Tom Selleck’s best.
I think Alan liked the freedom that you get playing the villain. Hans, Elliot (here) and Severus Snape.
With all due respect to Christopher Guest who was excellent as Count Rogan in the "Princess Bride" (1987), I think that Alan could have done the six-finger murderer better!
All of the best Alan Rickman scenes from “The January Man (1989).” NSFW.

LOL!
That is hilarious!
“Imagine if Gruber was a Undocumented Immigrant rather than a Legal Resident?”
Well, the LA Times said he was a legal resident. At Breitbart, they are saying he was a former coyote running illegals to Cali and after he was caught by the LAPD, they just let him go.
He was great portraying Hilly Kristal in CBGB.
Asian Dawn?
He was a little bit this way and a little bit that............mostly that.
That and Blackadder were two of the Brit comedy greats.
