I live in Rome, New York. We have three clerks, but not all of them are open all the time. They close down for lunch, or if they are working on something else. The lines have been too long to stand and wait for a clerk, so I’ve been using the kiosk in the lobby, so I don’t wear a mask. This past Tuesday when I went in to use the machine, the line was way out into the lobby. The lines are usually long there to begin with so it always looks like its Christmas, with people mailing out last-minute packages.

The machine in our lobby has been broken for months. I have started using UPS to send packages.

A small complaint too, every time while waiting in line, there is a glad enclosed area where the newest stamps are on display, inevitably the stamps I request are ‘out of stock’. Maybe they shouldn’t display them if you cannot buy any. Most recently I asked for the Moon Landing stamps and couldn’t get any, yet the sheet on those stamps is still on display.
