The Fastest Gun Alive (1956) Glenn Ford, Jeanne Craine, Broderick Crawford
YouTube ^ | 1956 | MGM

In the western frontier town of Cross Creek storekeeper George Temple (Glenn Ford) is a polite and soft spoken man with a secret past. When three bank robbers on the lam stop in town to change horses George Temple's past comes back to haunt him.
One of my highlights of the movie comes 3 minutes into the movie in the shootout between gunman Vinnie Harold (Broderick Crawford) and Clint Fallon (Walter Coy)

Vinnie Harold:
I'm lookin’ for Fallon!

Clint Fallon:
You the one I the one I been hear’n about? The one that's been lookin’ all over for Fallon?

Vinnie Harold:
Thats’ right!

Clint Fallon:
I'm Fallon!

Snip

Clint Fallon:
Mr. I don't want to fight! But don't push it!

Vinnie Harold:
Mr. Fallon I'm pushin’ because I gotta know!

Glenn Ford and Broderick Crawford are two of my favorite actors.
Crawford's best performance was probably in “All the King’ Men” (1949) for which he won an Oscar. He was also the star in the crime TV drama series from the 50’s “Highway Patrol”.

My husband just told me a run-down of the movie! Now the other night we watched Steve McQueen in Bullet. Gone are the days when we had our heroes. Does anyone remember what happened to the two Ford Mustangs they used in it?

He was short and fat, and rode out of the West
With a Mogen David on his silver vest
He was mean and nasty right clear through
Which was kinda weird, ‘cause he was yellow too

They called him Irving
Big Irving
Big, short Irving
Big, short, fat Irving
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West

He came from the old Bar Mitzvah spread
Schlepping a salami and pumpernickel bread
He always followed his mother’s wishes
Even on the range he used two sets of dishes

Irving
Big, fat Irving
Big sissy Irving
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West

A hundred and forty-one could draw faster than he
But Irving was looking for one forty-three
Walked into Sol’s Saloon like a man insane
And ordered three fingers of two cents plain

Irving
Big, fat Irving
Big sport Irving
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West

The James Boys was comin’ on a train at first sun
And the town said, “Irving, we need your gun”
When that train pulled in at the break of dawn
Irving’s gun was there, but Irving was gone

Irving
Big, fat Irving
Big help, Irving
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West

Well, finally Irving got three slugs in the belly
It was right outside the Frontier Deli
He was sittin’ there twirlin’ his gun around
And butterfingers Irving gunned himself down

Irving
Big, fat Irving
Big dum-dum Irving
Big dum-dum dead Irving
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West

Really

The 'hero' car, the one Steve McQueen was filmed driving in the movie, just sold at auction for $3.4 million.

The stunt/camera car was found a few years ago in Mexico in very poor condition. Last word is that it's being restored.

I’m using VPN in Opera, and still get that “unavailable” message.

Yes. I remember Highway Patrol. If memory serves, as a young hick hayseed farm clod, I think listening to Crawford talk on the police radio was the first I ever heard the term, “10 - 4”.
