I don’t know if she was a college debater or not, but I was, and we compiled extensive files on 3x5 index carts of “evidence” in the form of quotes or stats to be pulled at a moment’s notice to respond to the other team’s arguments. That’s because college debates are judged in part on the ability to support your statements with expert evidence rather than just logic or opinion, similar to how lawyers must do in court, and Kayleigh may have just acquired that ability in law school.
