China is going to have Thorium Salt reactor tech before we do and it is all our OWN FAULT, we had this tech in the 70’s but GE and the Government Industrial complex wanted to protect their nuclear power monopoly.

My first thought was that we should have kept the Argonne work classified.

But -- as adept as the Chinese are at industrial espionage and in reverse engineering, all that could have done was "put a slightly longer fuse on" the loss of the technology info to China.

Wow! I remember when my generation complained that the Japanese were skilled "copy-cats"!

And, then, there was WJC -- selling our technology to China... :-{
