Let's say you had to go repair a ventilator in an ICU ward full of covid patients. Are you stupid for wearing a mask because you are healthy?
I saw information about quilting cloth but not batting. A relative of mine has been making some. A local doctor and her daughter are doing the same and supplying local hospital staff, EMTs and others. Those masks have been developed for a while and fit snugly all around. They need to be changed several times per shift and are laundered daily. They also must be replaced periodically with newly made masks before losing too many fibers.
For people who must be approached very closely by raging morons each day, shooting glasses might also help. Shooting glasses are subtle enough and won’t make someone as much of a target for shouting narcissists as face shields or goggles.

My question (and I ask it with all due respect), how do you know if you are going to get a small case? Some in good health (young, athletes, etc) can have months of issues or serious side effects...
Tho it sounds good, getting body to maximum healthy status and getting exposed may sound like a good idea—efficient/easy, in reality it is not. Some people have diabetes—tho it may not be impossible, I am not sure how easy it is to reverse...Some are old...how do you reverse age?
My son had TB. How does he get his body to “maximum healthy status?” His lungs have issues.
How do you know with certainty that everyone on the planet will be exposed...Does everyone have to contract the virus...would seem that social distancing, hand washing, and wearing mask would enable some to not be exposed...or delay their exposure until the virus has run it’s course (Spanish Flue had 3 runs over 2 years) or effective preventative and treatment protocols have been developed.
Open now, as soon as you pull up your skirt, stop crying, and put on mask.

I went to Subway to get a sandwich and the girl making my sandwich had gloves and a mask, so I am safe right? Well of course her mask kept slipping down and she would reach up to move it up then reach down and touch my food. Several times. This is an example of the insanity of the mask wearing.
It isn’t education. People aren’t wearing them correctly. Period. They touch them and move them around. There are open spaces at the sides. Many of the masks don’t fit the nose properly. People pull them down and then pull them back up. It’s a joke

[Two layers of quilting cloth are probably best. A pocket for a HEPA filter can also be part of the design but might require exhalation valves for some.]

Unless that mask is sealed to your face, a HEPA filter is pointless.
