Where did you get the death rate increasing?
Total deaths may have gone up, but that’s not a death rate.
Correct. The total deaths will contnue to increase but the number per day is at a low point. A better number is the nymber of deaths per week which is about 3,300. To put this is perspective in a normal week with no “pandemic” 56,000 people die and most are in the target age group hit by this virus, so we really don’t know what the abnormal death toll is right now. We won’t until this thing runs its course.
The other number that should shame people like Cuomo and Murphy, who are busy blaming travelers from the south for cases in their states, and the threat to keep lockdown rules in place, is the deaths per million. Both NY and NJ have deaths per million over double the numbers in Europe, and 4X the numbers in the released states.. What have their lockdowns accomplished besides putting a lot of small businesses out of business.
