At least a snowflake would say that.
I would say: No snowflake, that are 3 guys doing hard work, mining for coal. You couldn't do that work!
Of course.
Unfortunately, many of them are swept up in the current BLM hysteria. Not unlike many whites who are swept up in the "Orange Man Bad" hysteria and are unable to see that they are working against their own interests.
Agreed
And I might add the American Dream isn’t a promise of a great life.
It’s the promise to achieve one, or at least a good one.
And have the freedom to make mistakes along the way, even some legal ones that are not terrible.
Wow, how many chances this country gives a person.
I know. You can TRY to screw up for a dozen years and STILL have a good life when you come around :)
With other countries’ legal systems and medical systems, I’d be finished by one or the other.
Boy I take this place for granted.
Gotta remember not to.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!
Preach it brother.
I blew a couple of good opportunities, looking back.
But things have worked out ok.
In some countries, your sixth or eighth grad exam can be the big fork in the road for your life.
The USA I grew up in was proud to be a meritocracy. Sadly, tribalism, of the political, racial, and ethnic varieties is eating away at that, carving out set asides. Instead of a growth, you get a shrinking pie from that.
I blew a couple of good opportunities, looking back...
I hear that. I dropped A bombs on many opportunities :)
And STILL there were more. After damaging my mind and body and finances. ME. I did that. Not God. Not WASPs. Not Jews. Not the Irish.
Well maybe the Irish :) JK
Step 1 is taking responsibility for one’s life and past actions. And it SUCKED to face that all of my problems were caused by ME.
There’s no point listing step 2 because many blacks and white snowflakes can’t even get past step 1.
And they don’t have life threatening Italian older brothers and uncles to help them realize it. Or else. :)
Life is pretty good now and what’s much more important is I saved my nephews and nieces DECADES lost because of mistakes by helping them avoid the pitfalls. :)
Uncles. Fathers. Grandfathers. Another thing the black community (and too many white ones nowadays) lacks that makes step 1 almost impossible.
In addition to the removal of the slogan, KIPP also plans to distribute grant money to communities most affected by the novel coronavirus and from racial trauma, eliminating discipline practices in schools that officials determine to be inequitable, providing a senior equity officer, along with countless other actions spurred by the killing of George Floyd.
IOW, it isn't a school at all.
It took years to get over that justifiable hatred of blacks with Christian faith - but that evil is rampant today in BLM and I have to suggest putting them down like rabid dogs because they hate everything American thinking Marxism is a solution despite living in the only nation that's done it's best to insure their success.
Our predecessors sacrificed and gave all to defeat Communism and dictatorial attacks on our freedoms and rights. As soldier these anarchists threw bricks and fluids at me guarding my headquarters while Germany sent no one to help. I damned well had loaded mags despite orders not to but the Red Brigade punks didn't approach. Good times - LOL!
My last temp job had "Technology Makes Excellence" over their door to the work floor and it totally creeped me out.
I'm not sure the slogan was the most offensive part of that whole milieu though. :^o
Of course that was Nazi icing on their cake of evil. Don’t count me with the vile bastards - I want a functioning peace between we patriots and these idiotic dumb-asses thinking Marxism is a solution. They need to know at least 80 million people have been murdered for Marxism because that system can not work so long as people are not perfect. Our Founder’s idea of a democratic republic, with it’s safeguards against mob rule, is still the best and most elegant solution. I am with you.
Off-topic, some weirdo stole the sign some years ago, I think returned it.
