Animals & Earthquake Prediction The earliest reference we have to unusual animal behavior prior to a significant earthquake is from Greece in 373 BC. Rats, weasels, snakes, and centipedes reportedly left their homes and headed for safety several days before a destructive earthquake. Anecdotal evidence abounds of animals, fish, birds, reptiles, and insects exhibiting strange behavior anywhere from weeks to seconds before an earthquake.
However, consistent and reliable behavior prior to seismic events, and a mechanism explaining how it could work, still eludes us. Most, but not all, scientists pursuing this mystery are in China or Japan.
At any rate, I know a few people who have had dreams regarding a giant earthquake. poo poo it if you want. It doesn't matter to me. But I had the same dream in about March 2020 in which a large bridge collapsed. Very huge earthquake. And prior to that in Oct. 2019 I had a dream of buildings burning everywhere - Rows of towering flames in cities. I told a friend and can prove it from dated texts. But no matter. Discount dreams if you want, but sometimes a dream is different and you know it. I don't often get into that side of things, but I felt it should be said.
