Well, I sorta agree. My semi-auto Chinese Norinco AK 47 type rifle is clunky, but perfectly adequate. Every boy should have one. My kids used to point shoot it from the hip with good effect. About $235, 25 years ago.

The view from behind the counter has been overwhelming.
We have been getting restocked somewhat so far, but the demand is something I’ve never seen.
2-3 hour wait to get to the counter.

Yeah, all the “practice” mantra for beginners without mentioning training first is irresponsible. Beginners will have to unlearn bad muscle memory.
Lots of places have been running short of ammo. My fear is not that the libs will take the guns away... my fear is that they will disrupt the supply of ammo to the point where there isn't any.
